Clinton Hendershot
March 18, 1954 – September 03, 2012
Clinton Lee Hendershot, 58, died Sept. 3, 2012, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born March 18, 1954, in Hutchinson, the son of Donald Eugene and Beverly Ann Dauber Hendershot.
Clinton was a 1972 graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. On Sept. 26, 1969, he married Lorali Marie Paschall in Hutchinson. She survives. Clinton was a member of the New Life Church of the Nazarene and was co-owner of C & C Guttering with his wife, Lori. Together since the age of 13 they were partners in everything from their numerous business ventures to their mission work on four Continents and over 20 countries to their daily life with their three children, Bobbi Jo, Kathryn and Joshua. There was no doubt Clinton loved his God and family more than anything though his dog, Annie was a close third. His selflessness and encouraging nature was an inspiration to all who not only knew him but also to those who had only the briefest of encounters with him.
Clinton believed in the goodness of others especially in that society deemed unacceptable. He never gave up on anyone giving them a second, third, even tenth chance to prove themselves and find their self worth. He will be remembered for his generosity and willingness to help anyone even if it meant giving up his supper or Saturdays, though not his Sundays. He will be missed by everyone who ever knew him but is at peace in Heaven singing hymns, strolling with his mother, and waiting for his family to join him in eternity.
Other family members include: daughters, Bobbi Jo Grieb and husband Tom of Great Bend, Kathryn Hendershot and husband Mark Voorhes of Fort Collins, Colo.; son, Joshua Hendershot and wife Angela of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Ronald and his wife Clare of Hutchinson, Jerald and his wife Kathy of Hutchinson, Dennis of Pretty Prairie; stepbrother, Dana Paque and his wife Becky of Haysville; sister, Deborah Irsik and husband Larry of Pretty Prairie; and stepsister, Donna Powers of Wichita; four grandchildren, Reggan and Zachary Reynolds and Braelee and Rylison Grieb. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; and stepfather, Donald Paque.
